Works great. But iTunes sucks

This product is sleek and works perfectly. But I face a problem with iTunes. I have recently formatted my machine and installed iTunes again. When I connected my iPod back it prompted me to sync the files in my new iTunes library. And I had to lose all my songs stored in shuffle. I had to copy the songs back to shuffle again. Its such a pain. I think its the problem with only shuffle, hopefully other products work OK.

I had bought these two ipod shuffles for my fiance and my mom. My mom always wanted one for around the house and outside gardening. She love it when she got it for her birthday. My fiance love it when she got it for christmas because she now can have her favorite music with her all the time. They both are not into electronics and like how simple it is to use. However, they both needed help getting their favorite songs on them. br /br /Key points FYI:br /br /Must download itunes media player to sync with the ipod shuffle (Free, website given)br / Can rip songs from CD'sbr / Can add previous music you already own in mp3 and WMA formats.br / Will convert from any other formats that it reconizesbr / Can download songs from the itunes store as well ($0.99 per song)br / Itunes gift cards are sold just about anywhere they sell ipods ($15+)br / (No use of credit/debit cards online)br /br /240 song capacity is a lot for changing out different songs.(Not enough, get the 2GB ipod shuffle)br /br /4 hours to charge but 12 hours of continuous play (just like it is br /supposed to)br /br /There are protective coverings(the aluminum is the best) out there for this device at Radio Shack for people like my fiance who has the tendency to break things she owns. (Must remove the covering, however, when charging so the ipod shuffle can fit into the docking station)br /br /br /Overall, great gift or buy for anyone who is not into electronics but loves their music, as long as someone can set it up for them if they dont know how. The best smallest player out there giving the advantage for anyone who can take it anywhere comfortably.

I've bought two of these to temporarily replace larger, more expensive iPods that have been stolen or broken. They're a good replacement if you buy from the iTunes Music Store.

This iPod Shuffle is my second iPod so there were no surprises in the box.br /With my massive 160GB iPod Classic I bring all my music with me everywhere I go. I listen to it all day everyday at work. Yesterday I was grooving to Reggae while snowblowing the driveway. Sometimes the iPod Classic is too big and kind of in the way. The iPod Shuffle is the perfect answer to this "little" problem. Though limited by the 1GB size, I can fill it and empty and refill it at will. I find the small size ideal for the Gym. Low profile and light weight design makes it ideal to clip to my tshirt for lifting or cardio. Never in the way but always present - this thing rocks (and reggae's too). br /I picked the green color and was happy to find the color depicted on Amazon.com to be right on the money. Speaking of money, I found this Shuffle cheaper here online than advertised at my local bigbox exectronics stores. For those of you who seek instant gratification; My Shuffle showed up at my house so quickly, it's hardly worth the trip to the mall. 2 days.

My Wife I both have full-sized ipods w/ lots more songs features but when we go to work out we both fight over who gets to use the nano! The clip design is awesome. Clip it to your shorts, put it on shuffle and you don't even know it's there! It's never fallen off either. The must have for anyone working out w/ there ipod. Perfect for travel too as it takes up almost no space (easy to lose though).
